selling home

Despite it being considered one of the biggest stresses we experience in our lifetimes, it is not uncommon for everyone to experience moving house on a few occasions. Whether you need to up-size to allow space for a growing family, downsize once the children have all moved out or simply fancy a change of area, PDR Property Lawyers have the inside knowledge of how to make selling your home a simple and stress free experience.

With house prices constantly increasing, getting the most out of your house sale and the best price possible is becoming even more important. But the whole process is confusing and challenging for even the most regular of movers.

PDR Property Lawyers are qualified conveyancing lawyers and are here to help you with selling your house. We are award winning conveyancers with years of experience in the industry. Over the years we have come across an incredibly large client base covering house sales of all sizes and costs.

We offer free no-obligation conveyancing quotations and will talk you through all of our services before we proceed so you know exactly what to expect and what legal matters we will assist you with. We can be as little or as involved in your case as you wish, you will be surprised at how much we can help you with! Once you have appointed us as your conveyancers we follow the process as below:

• Letter of engagement – we will send this out to you and require it to be signed and returned so we can work on your behalf.
• Buying a home – if you are buying a new home we can connect the two processes to encourage a seamless transition from old house to new.
• Title deeds – we will locate your title deeds or obtain copies via the HM Land Registry and send draft contract papers to the buyers solicitors.
• Property information and fixtures and fittings – we will send forms out to you and on return liaise with the buyers solicitors regarding this information.
• Additional enquiries – we will liaise with the buyers solicitors and you for any additional enquiries from either party that may arise throughout the process.
• Contracts – we will oversee the exchange of contracts.
• Completion – this is the final stage of your house sale where we will ensure all monies are dealt with appropriately and the keys passed on.

Our fees are very competitive and we pride ourselves on our personal yet professional attitude when serving you. So if your house sale is all getting too much and on top of you then contact a member of our friendly team who can immediately put you at ease knowing that your sale will be in safe hands.
